Jen Ashton (Co-founder & Director)

Jen is a qualified CIPD Human Resources professional who loves to work with companies who currently don’t have a HR department in place. She enjoys going into the company and working with them to put in the correct policies and procedures and helping Line Managers to create effective working relationships. With vast experience in start ups to redundancies and settlement agreements Jen has over twenty years experience in both HR and Payroll across the UK, Europe and the US. Outside of work Jen has a number of keen interests and is a member of Somerset Cricket Club.

Hannah Cook (Co-Founder and Director)

Hannah Cook is the Co-founder and director of Mendip HR & Payroll Solutions Limited. ​​​Having gained experience working within small businesses, Hannah started Mendip Accounting Solutions in 2005 with the aim of providing an affordable service to local sole traders and partnerships. Originally training as a beauty therapist, and then working in a variety of customer-focused roles before moving into accounts in 2001. Having grown the Accounts side of the business it was clear that there was a need for HR advice alongside the payroll that was already being provided. Joining forces with Jen during the pandemic made perfect sense to offer a full rounded Payroll and HR service to existing clients as well as other small businesses in the area.
